Modern portfolio theory helps the investor measure risk, so they can better understand their investments performance. At TAP, we use MPT as a framework to construct our portfolios so that you know, exactly how much risk you're portfolio is exposed to.

If you don't know your portfolios risk, you should talk with your investment advisor. If they can't give you a number of risk, (and the terms conservative, moderate and aggressive don't count) you should call me. We work with our clients so they know exactly how much risk they are taking.
