Financial Planning Services
Contrary to popular opinion – Financial planning is not rocket science but it is infinitely more important to you; unless you work for NASA.  Preparing a Financial Plan does take some energy and it works like a GPS (Global Positioning System) for your financial life.  It lets you know exactly where you are and, once done, will tell you the best route to get there.  I serve as the navigator/pilot that will steer you clear of potential challenges on your journey while showing you the most efficient route.  Your plan may have stops at Educational/College Funding or Business Planning and it will certainly address Retirement and Estate Planning.   Sights include Tax Efficiency, Real Estate and Insurance analysis. 

College Funding may occur before or during the college years.  New government plans allow for healthy contributions which can be used tax-free for college after accumulating tax deferred. 

Tax Efficiency is looking at your assets in terms of the friction caused by tax.  It simply means that you look at your assets in terms of their potential tax liability. 

Insurance is not a religion, it is a tool.  I look at insurance for its intended use: high loss / low probability.  Further, I treat all insurance mathematically, not emotionally.

Business Planning.  If you own a business, I will help you look at it objectively.  That means the dollars and cents of it, not how to gain market share.

Retirement Plan.   The big Kahoona to most folks is their retirement plan.  Will they have enough to live comfortably?   We define what “comfortably” means and just how you’ll achieve it with the time and assets available.  We look at all assets, their expected appreciation and the order in which they’ll feed your retirement.

Estate Plan.  Most people put almost no energy or thought into their estate.  Of course the government is happy to provide you with a ready estate plan, however, it may not be to your liking.  I am not an attorney and do not prepare any legal documents.  I do explain how your assets will pass through your estate and educate you as to making that occur exactly as you wish, with the greatest efficiency.
